Mooney training rates and how booking works
Mooney Pros charges $800 per training day and $500 per half day. An instructor travel day is $800, or $500 when it’s a half day. The instructor’s direct expenses, such as airfare, hotel, meals, and ground transport, are paid directly to the instructor, and flights and hotels are prepaid to the instructor before training starts.

Plus the instructor’s direct expenses, which are paid directly to the instructor. Airfare and hotel are prepaid to the instructor before training.
How billing works
- Mooney Pros, Inc. invoices you for training days and travel days at the end of your session. Payment is due on receipt.
- Your instructor sends you their direct-expense accounting, and you pay them directly.
- Full terms are in the training agreement you sign before scheduling. Past-due balances are charged 1.5% per month.
The insurance requirement
Before any flying, your aircraft insurance has to name Mooney Pros, Inc. and your assigned instructor as named additional insureds, with a waiver of subrogation. Your agent can usually do this quickly. Have them email the certificate to mike@mooneypros.com. It protects you, your instructor, and the company, and keeps everyone on the same side of the table.
